SafeSteps Family GPS Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your SafeSteps Family GPS account and associated data. SafeSteps Family GPS is provided by Tylabs Media.

Request Account and Data Deletion

If you are a parent account holder, you can request deletion of your SafeSteps Family GPS account and associated child/location data.

To request deletion, email us at: support@dinningtonhub.co.uk

Please include the email address used for your SafeSteps parent account so we can identify the correct account.

What Will Be Deleted

When your deletion request is verified, we will delete or anonymise data associated with your SafeSteps account, including:

  • Parent account information linked to the account.
  • Child profiles linked to the account.
  • Child device pairing records and tokens.
  • Stored location history and route history linked to the account.
  • Account/session data used to access the SafeSteps service.

What May Be Retained

Some limited information may be retained where necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, dispute resolution, or operational record-keeping purposes.

Subscription and payment records may also remain available through Google Play Billing according to Google’s own policies. We do not directly store full payment card details.

How Long Deletion Takes

We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days.

If we need more information to confirm account ownership, we may contact you using the email address provided.

Deleting Data in the App

SafeSteps may also provide an in-app account deletion option for signed-in parent accounts. If available, this can be used to delete the parent account and associated child/location data directly from the app or dashboard.

Stopping Location Sharing

Location sharing can be stopped at any time from the child device by opening SafeSteps Family GPS and tapping Stop sharing.

Stopping location sharing prevents new location updates from being sent, but it does not automatically delete previously stored account or location data. To delete stored data, please request account/data deletion using the contact method above.
